A peak behind the Game Masters screen...
My introduction to Dungeons & Dragons was at the age of nine, when my neighbor borrowed the Basic Set and brought it over to show me. Already captivated by the worlds of J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis, I was immediately drawn to the games imaginative possibilities. It wasn't long before we were venturing into the "Keep on the Borderlands," and I was utterly hooked.
That initial spark ignited a lifelong passion, leading me to become a dedicated Dungeon Master with twelve years of experience in both published modules and home brew campaigns. What truly resonates with me about 1st Edition AD&D, and the Gygaxian style of play, is its uncompromising realism. The inherent danger faced by low-level characters, stepping out of their mundane lives, demands planning and strategic teamwork to survive. Mastering these skills is essential to overcome the perilous challenges that await.

Game Master Kimo Stowell has a B.S. in Theatre and was a professional actor and vocalist for over 15 years. He is currently developing a deck building card game and writing a fantasy horror novel based on the World of Greyhawk by Gary Gygax. GM Kimo will be running retro RPG's online and in-person campaigns in Honolulu.
